Who travels with DJ Travel Tours?

Senior clubs and 55+ communities, churches and faith groups, service clubs, hobby groups, and friends who want to travel together. Individuals and couples can join our public departures.

How far ahead should our group plan?

For multi-day trips, 9 to 12 months is ideal, especially for shows, Christmas trips and cruises. Day trips can often be planned in 2 to 4 months.

What is included in the price?

Every quote lists exactly what’s included. Most tours include transportation, hotels, the meals listed, admissions, baggage handling and gratuities, so there are no surprises.

How do deposits and payments work?

Travelers pay a deposit to reserve a seat and the balance before departure. We collect payments directly, so group leaders don’t have to handle money unless they want to.

What if our group doesn’t reach the minimum?

We’ll talk well before any supplier deadlines about options: a revised price for a smaller group, combining with another departure, or new dates. If we cancel a trip, you receive a full refund of all money paid to us.

Do group leaders really travel free?

Yes. Motorcoach trips include 2 free seats for every 40 paying travelers, and air and cruise trips include 1 free seat for every 15 paying travelers.

Should I buy travel insurance?

We strongly recommend it. It can protect you against cancellation charges, medical costs and trip interruptions. We’ll share an insurance option when you register.

Is there a lot of walking?

Each itinerary notes the activity level. Motorcoaches have steps, and some sightseeing includes walking. Tell us about mobility needs when you register and we’ll do our best to help.

Can I room with a friend or travel on my own?

Yes. Prices are per person sharing a room, and we’ll pair you with your roommate. Solo travelers can book a single room for an additional single supplement.

What ID do I need?

For flights, a REAL ID-compliant license or a passport. For cruises, a passport is strongly recommended and may be required. We’ll confirm the exact requirements for your trip.
